How does my Straight Talk phone differ from a landline phone?: Your Straight Talk phone is a wireless mobile telephone, therefore it does not work exactly the same as your landline telephone, and you may have an occasional service interruption. Your phone will work well in town, but in some rural areas you may have an occasional service problem. There are locations in the U.S. that do not have wireless coverage and the quality of wireless service may be affected by capacity limitations, geographic, topographical and atmospheric conditions.
