Where can I buy a Straight Talk phone?
You can buy a Straight Talk phone on our website at www.straighttalk.com/ShopPhones or at a participating Wal-Mart retailer.
Where can I find my phone number?
Please go to www.straighttalk.com/phones and click on the "Learn More" icon below your phone to access our "Find Phone Number" tutorial in the "Getting Started" section.
How do I lock my phone to prevent other people from using it to make calls?
You may lock your phone to prevent unauthorized use by means of your Lock Code. Your Lock Code is usually set by default to the last 4 digits of your phone number. Please click here, and click on the "Learn More" below your phone model to access our Mobile Web Tutorial, then select "User Guide" to find step by step instructions on how to lock/unlock your phone.
How do I store a phone number?
Please go to www.straighttalk.com/phones and click on the "Learn More" icon below your phone to access our "Adding/Deleting Contacts" tutorial in the "Contacts" section.
How do I make a call?
Simply dial the phone number you wish to call and press "SEND" or "CALL" depending on your phone model.
How do I receive a call?
To answer a call press the answer key, "SEND" or "CALL", depending on your phone model.
What should I do if I move to another city and need to change to a new local number?
If relocating to a new calling area, simply call the Customer Care Center at 1-877-430-CELL(2355) to verify whether the technology of your phone is compatible with your new local calling area. You will then be assigned a new wireless phone number.
How can I make sure my Straight Talk phone does not continue deducting minutes after I have completed my call?
Press the "PWR/END" key after you have completed your call. Otherwise, minutes will continue to be deducted. Straight Talk does not refund lost minutes.

If your phone model is an LG420GP, LG620GP or SAT401GP, you can check your Minutes Balance and Service End Date on your phone's Prepaid Menu by selecting the "Airtime Info" option. If you are enrolled in an Unlimited Service Plan, your phone will display "0.00".

For all other models, and the ones mentioned above as well, you may check your balance by clicking www.straighttalk.com/CheckBalance. to verify your account balance. You can also contact our Customer Care Center at 1-877-430-CELL (2355) and a representative will gladly assist you.
How will I know if I have run out of minutes, messages or data on my phone?
If you are using the $30 All You Need Plan and you run out of minutes or SMS before the Service End Date, you will hear/see the message "Insufficient Funds". If you're running out of Data you will see "Authentication failed. Auto-retries. Error cannot resolve host name".Also, if your phone model is an LG420GP, LG620GP or SAT401GP, you can check your Minutes Balance and Service End Date on your phone's Prepaid Menu by selecting the "Airtime Info" option. If you are enrolled in an Unlimited Service Plan, your phone will display "0.00".For all other models, and the ones mentioned above as well, you may check your balance by clicking www.straighttalk.com/CheckBalance to verify your account balance. You can also contact our Customer Care Center at 1-877-430-CELL (2355) and a representative will gladly assist you.
Can I change the "Welcome note" on my phone?
This feature cannot be altered.

What should I do if the phone number given to me during Activation does not match the number displayed on my phone?
Please call our Customer Care Center at 1-877-430-CELL (2355) to resolve this issue.

How do I check the remaining Minutes, Messages & Data I have available?
