Home Internet FAQs

Straight Talk Home Internet is a high-speed internet covered by the Verizon 5G network. Speed and performance are similar to cable or DSL internet, but it relies on a wireless signal instead of a wired signal. The service uses a router that both receives the cellular signal and provides Wi-Fi for your home devices.

The Straight Talk Home Internet plan costs $45 per month. The plan can only be used with the Straight Talk Home Internet Router, which has a one-time cost of $99.99. There are no contracts or other fees. You may be eligible for a bundled discount if you have or add a Straight Talk Gold or Platinum Unlimited Plan.

Anyone can sign up for Straight Talk Home Internet, whether a customer or not. Though you may be eligible for a bundled discount if you have or add a Straight Talk Gold or Platinum Unlimited Plan.

To maintain a high standard of service, Straight Talk Fixed Wireless Home Internet requires an availability check at the street address level. Because availability, coverage, and speeds can change with address/location, signal strength, and network connection, some addresses that are close together might not share the same availability. To receive real-time updates on coverage eligibility, visit Straight Talk Home Internet.

As soon as you receive your router, you should set up and activate a plan as soon as possible to make sure a reservation for service is held for you. If you registered your device in-store or purchased it from StraightTalk.com, you might have had a 30-day reservation created for you. If you do not have a reservation or it has expired, you will need to check for availability at your address again.
